Paris, France. Danakil (which is the name of a desert of Ethiopia) was born in 2000, the common passion of 8 students in the Paris region, sharing the same passion for reggae music. After some trials in the local town, the group performed very rapidly in the regional scenes and poses from the beginning the foundation for a sound identity. Filled with a universal slot and a committed message, Danakil begins to force the summer concerts and tours in the early demos that sell directly to the public. The success of his first book marks the transition of a more associative (group of friends) to a more professional, open the door to new schedules and leads the group to make numerous meetings critical to their development. Today, with over 300 concerts under his belt, Danakil proves to be a live band, full of great energy, shared by his hearers, and tremendous charisma.
