Porto Alegre, Brazil. La banda se llama Chimarruts - un juego de palabras mate with (el mate, typical drink from South America del sur) con roots of reggae. Bueno, la banda en el empezar playing 2000, y it happens what happens to many bands. In the beginning there were some friends who got together to play reggae and express his ideas. But the thing was getting serious since I started playing in the Parque Marinha do Brasil. They grew? The boys of the band say that "the wind spread their music." So after they recorded their first CD in 2002 and being a local band with a sound so good, began to ring in Porto Alegre radios. And he became a reggae phenomenon that led to a many tours around the country. In 2003 he released his second album: Todos Somos Um, whence came the hits Deixa Voar Chover and Saber. The Chima, as known to his followers, makes a reggae with lyrics speaking of love, peace and personal experiences of members of the band.
