The fact that twelve Catalan newspapers have today published a joint editorial titled "The dignity of Catalonia " to pressure the Constitutional Court for a ruling on the statute that is next to the postulates nationalist, has been presented as something unusual and, of course, as referred to above, it is. However, it unusual course does not mean that there is a perfectly predictable.
The text attempts to delegitimize the first to TC, since the ten members eligible to vote in this case (one died and another is challenged), four working under extension have not agreed political parties for their replacement. In UPyD have denounced the politicization and consequent lack of efficiency of the procedure for filling vacancies to the TC, but the only way to change what we do not like the system that much, is political reform and in particular, reform constitutional, and it has its requirements. Meanwhile, we can only get rid of the arbitrary if all respect the rules are for everyone. Questioning the legitimacy of the Tribunal, and in such a sensitive time, is of great audacity and political irresponsibility, but questioning their judgments only when we do not like, and when we do not go well, is a deplorable intellectual poverty or a bad faith that insults the citizenry and, in particular, to the readers.
Not content to despise the TC, the publisher is allowed to establish what is progressive and democracy: "The real dilemma is forward or backward," "is in play the dynamics constitutional spirit of 1977 that made possible the peaceful transition. " It is true that many, inside and outside Catalonia believe is at stake in the spirit of the Transition, but not just by default, but excess: the state has lost sight autonomous referents as solidarity and equality, and the ruling of the TC depends steps we take to the dislocation of Spain and the final inequality among its citizens or containing it.

The best thinkers of our time Catalans (Felix de Azua, Albert Boadella, Alejo Vidal-Quadras, Arcadi Espada) are now explicitly set against something that can not be regarded rather than the regime.
