How To Make Foil Penny Boat
Germanic peoples. Major tribes. ►
Around 1000 BC C., a group of uncivilized tribes, consisting of tall, fair-skinned and were hunting savages lived north and south of the entrance to the Baltic Sea region today are Denmark, southern Sweden, Norway and northern Germany. Nobody knows where they came from.
Their language was different from the languages \u200b\u200bspoken in the east and south why these tribes grouped together.
Many centuries later, the Romans found a tribe descended from those primitive tribes (and still quite primitive.) The members of that tribe called themselves a name that sounded like them Romans "Germania." Later, the Romans applied the name to all tribes who spoke the language of the Germani, so we called Germanic tribes.
Among their descendants today, count the Germans. But the Germans call themselves Deutsch (an old word which may mean "people") and his nation Deutschland .
Germanic tribes were among those that history books often called "barbaric."
For the civilized Greeks and Romans from the south, anyone who does not speak Greek or Latin was considered a barbarian, that is, emitting sounds seemed unintelligible, such as "bar-bar-bar." That word, therefore, was not necessarily an insulting nature. After all, the people of Syria, Babylon and Egypt also were barbarians in that sense, and they were as educated and wise like the Greeks and Romans, and they were for more time.
The Germans were barbarians in that sense, but they were uncivilized. In later centuries, helped to destroy parts of the Roman Empire, and their lack of appreciation of culture and knowledge gave the word "barbarian" its present meaning, uneducated or uncivilized person.

I was puzzled by the lack of communication, or at least the strange communication between us three. Neither Neil or Buzz confide in me, I do not them; have sufficient technical trivia to exhaust our quota of words with each passing day, and none seems to exceed that limit. This was during training for the flight, and I suppose that will continue after you finish the mission.

Béla Bartók (Nagyszentmiklós, Austria-Hungary, now Sannicolau Mare, Romania, 1881 - New York, 1945) Musician
noted Hungarian composer, pianist and researcher of folk music of Eastern Europe. ►
Béla Bartók accidentally discovered the true nature of Hungarian music. One summer day in 1904, while on holiday in a village in the plains of Hungary, he heard a peasant girl singing while working in the fields. Instantly fell in love, but not the girl, but music.
The song was simple and crude, the melody, innocent, and the rhythm irregular. Bartók heard caught, and then asked the girl to sing more. Transcribed the melody and later recalled: "I had a penny. However, I felt I returned to Budapest with a great treasure: the soul of the Hungarian peasants. "

Abraham Patriarch Hebrew, a descendant of Shem and son of Terah, born in Ur (Chaldean). His wife Sara had to Isaac and his slave Hagar Ishmael, progenitor of the Arab people.
After all that God wanted to test Abraham, and called him and said, "Abraham." And he answered: "Here I am." And God said, "Go, take your son, your only son, whom thou lovest, Isaac, and go to the land of Moriah, and there ofrécemelo burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will show you. " He arose, Abraham morning, saddled his ass, and taking with him two servants and Isaac his son, broke the wood for the burnt offering, and set out for the place God had told him. On the third day Abraham looked up and saw the place afar off. And he said to his two servants: "Stay here with the ass, and I and the boy go over there, and after worship, we will return to you." And Abraham taking the wood for the burnt offering, laid it on Isaac his son, took him in his hand the fire and the knife, and followed both together. Isaac said to Abraham: "My Father." "What do you, my son," he said. And he said, "Here we have the fire and the wood, but the response to the Holocaust, where is it?". And Abraham said, 'God will provide a response to the holocaust, my son, and the two remained together. Arrived at the place that God told him, Abraham lifted the altar there and arranged the wood on him, bound his son and put him on the altar upon the wood. He took the knife and then held out his arm to slay his son. But he cried out from heaven the angel of the Lord, saying: "Abraham, Abraham." And he answered: "Here I am." "Do not lay your arm on the child," he said - and did not do anything, because now I've seen that truly fear God, because for me you've forgiven your son, your only begotten. "

Gilbert Keith Chesterton (London, 1874 - Beaconsfield, 1936)
British writer. Cultivated, among other genres, the essay, narrative, biography, poetry, journalism and travel book. ►
Gilbert Keith Chestertonattended St. Paul's School, which was then at Hammersmith. He was an introverted child who strove time to learn. Her worried parents took him to a doctor, who said the boy was the largest and most sensitive brain he has seen. The boy, said the doctor, would become "a genius or a idiot. " His teachers were equally perplexed about the future of his corpulent and slovenly disciple shrill voice, often talking to himself and others laughed for no apparent reason. Few
warned that what he did was recite long passages from Dickens and Shakespeare learned by rote, and that his smile was the first indication of their keen sense of the ridiculous, that whole nations would soon make him laugh
